Backwater Jacks starts summer hours on Thursday, May 13. Dinner service will run Thursday through Saturday nights from 5:00 to 9:00 PM from our new summer menu (see below) and daily specials and the bar opens at 3:00 pm. We also are discontinuing our pick-up and free delivery service (inside the gates only) as of May 8.
Remember, Backwater Jacks is all about fun, casual dining, but Chef Cory is all business when it comes to sourcing his ingredients. In fact, the majority of our produce, fish and meats are local, organic, and sustainably harvested. When we can’t source locally, Cory does a deep dive to Insure whatever we buy comes from sustainable sources. He even validates things like animal feed, enclosure sizes and no use of growth hormones.
Why? Because fresh & natural always taste best.
So, come soon and often … taste Chef Cory’s magic!
(A NOTE ON COVID-19: While Governor DeSantis has permitted restaurants to resume normal operation at full capacity, Backwater Jacks is taking a more nuanced approach, keeping your health and well-being foremost. We will continue to have appropriately-spaced tables (including additional tables on our great, open-air deck) and a new, touch-less QR menus you can read on your cellphones. Our serving staff will continue to wear masks and we will do frequent cleanings of all public areas. We require customers to wear masks until seated at their tables for your own protection. Our Jack's Pack Dining Rewards Program
Jack’s Pack is our dining rewards program. It was created to reward you for helping the restaurant stay open year-round as a dining amenity inside the gates for the entire Bonita Bay community.
The $250 annual fee can almost pay for itself through exclusive member discounts – 10% off all food & beverage purchases, including in-home catering; 10% off purchases at our Marina Ship Store; and 2% off purchases of marine gasoline.
Plus, only Jack’s Pack members can make advance reservations and request a seating area, including our new outdoor deck overlooking the Marina. We are almost always crowded in-season, so Jack’s Pack members can be sure they will have a table waiting. Non-members can call the same day and can’t request a seating area.
Joining is easy. Ask for a Jack’s Pack application at the restaurant or Marina Ship Store during operating hours or click on the Jack’s Pack image above to print a copy. Membership is on a calendar year basis, but we offer a pro-rata rate from July 1 through year-end (no exceptions). Call the restaurant at 239-992-3010 for more information.
